Durch Fernseh-Shows und gigantische Open-Air-Auftritte wurden die 5 Vokal Virtuosen aus New York und Florida zu US-Popstars. Doch auch nach über 20 Jahren weltweitem Touren sind Scott, Jeff, Steven, John und George heiß auf Europa. Das Publikum darf sich also wieder auf perfektes A-cappella-Entertainment und fantastische Solisten freuen.
Was aus diesen fünf Kehlen über die Mikrofone kommt, ist mit dem altbekannten Begriff „a cappella“ nur bedingt umschrieben. Zwar benutzen die laut New York Post mit „pure magical talent“ versehenen Sänger keine Instrumente. Schließt man beim Zuhören allerdings die Augen, kann man dies einfach nicht glauben. Das liegt unter anderem an einem der besten „Vocal Percussionisten“ (mouth drummer) der Welt, Jeff Thacher.
Mit ihrem neuesten Mitglied, dem neuem Programm und ihrem lang ersehnten neuen Album, das im Frühjahr erscheinen wird, werden Rockapella auch 2010 wieder ihre Fans begeistern.

Rockapella They’ve become one of the world’s most sophisticated and lasting pop vocal groups. A single concert opens a window on practically the whole history of vocal music from vintage Mills Brothers through jazz and rock to current HipHop.
The little miracle that keeps the crowds coming back year after year and constantly draws new fans is Rockapella’s astonishing full-band sound. A sound that seems to be impossible coming from just five guys with microphones. No instruments, no tracks, no mirrors – and their hands never leave their wrists. “We’re making every bit as much music as the whole ‘Glee’ chorus – but with only five guys,” says Rockapella’s human beat-box Jeff Thacher.
